Power Flowers

Reception

This section requests information about your wedding reception and the type of floral arrangements that you require.

Number of Dining Tables: Specify the number of dining tables at your wedding reception that are reserved for guests.

Typically, a centerpiece arrangement is placed at the center of each dining table.

Head Table: Select this check box if your reception plan includes a head table.

The head table arrangement is designed to highlight the table, but is shaped so that it does not obscure those sitting behind the table. Optionally, floral arrangements can also be placed behind the head table to enhance the background.

Receiving Table: Select this check box if your reception plan includes a receiving table.

A receiving table is sometimes used to accommodate the guest book or wedding gifts, and is placed near the doorway. A single floral arrangement can be placed on this table.

Buffet Table: Select this check box if your reception plan includes a buffet table.

In large halls and reception areas, a tall and slim floral arrangement is sometimes used to clearly identify the location of the buffet table (and the food).

Cake Table: Select this check box if your reception plan includes a wedding cake table.

The floral arrangement placed on the cake table must be carefully designed to be visually pleasing without drawing attention away from the beauty and significance of the cake.
